Bartender

Job Overview Experienced bartender sought for classic tavern and fine dining restaurant. Candidate will be well versed in classic cocktails, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, passionate about hospitality, and providing an exceptional product and experience to every guest. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with skill and creativity, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience. Become proficient in POS system to receive and place orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, recognizing signs of intoxication, and follow responsible serving policies. Provide bar service to on site catering events as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service. Uphold all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment is highly preferred. Classic cocktail and spirits knowledge highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and creating a lively atmosphere. Experience serving in fine dining establishments or catering settings is a plus.
