About Us West Hills Country Club provides exceptional dining experiences and hosts elegant weddings, private functions, and special events in the Hudson Valley. Our Front of House bartending team plays a critical role in guest satisfaction, delivering professional beverage service in both A La Carte dining and catered event settings. We are currently seeking Front of House Bartenders to join our team. This posting represents one primary role, which may include service in dining areas or during events, depending on experience, availability, and business needs. Additional opportunities may be available. Position Summary The Front of House Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant bar setup. This role requires professionalism, efficiency, knowledge of beverage service standards, and strict adherence to alcohol safety and compliance regulations. Essential Job Functions Greet guests and take beverage orders in a professional manner Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages Follow established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards Verify identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws Monitor guest consumption and manage intoxicated patrons according to policy Operate cash registers and follow cash handling procedures as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized bar station Stock bar supplies and communicate inventory needs Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after service or events Maintain professional appearance and conduct Work collaboratively with servers, service assistants, and management Availability Requirements Evenings, weekends, and holidays required Flexibility to work both dining and event schedules as needed Experience & Qualifications 2 years of bartending experience preferred Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine service Strong customer service and communication skills Familiarity with alcohol safety and compliance standards Reliable and able to perform in fast-paced dining or event environments Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced dining and event settings Education & Age Requirements High school diploma preferred (may be waived with relevant experience) Must be 18 years of age or older
Pay:
