Bartender

Position Overview The Waters Grill is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating a warm, energetic bar environment that reflects our waterfront dining experience. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a polished and professional presence. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar and in the dining room Execute cocktail recipes consistently while maintaining quality and presentation standards Engage with guests to provide a welcoming, memorable experience and build repeat clientele Maintain full knowledge of menus, including food offerings, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails Manage bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety standards Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems Assist with inventory control, restocking, and maintaining par levels Collaborate with service staff to ensure seamless guest experience Support special events, private parties, and high-volume service periods Qualifications 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale casual environment Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must meet all local and state requirements for alcohol service What We're Looking For A natural host who creates energy behind the bar Someone who takes pride in their craft and presentation Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage + tips Opportunities for growth within the team Dynamic, waterfront work environment
