The Immigrant Wine Bar is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven bartender to join our team in the East Village. We are a neighborhood wine bar known for exceptional wines, classic cocktails, and warm, attentive service. Our ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, comfortable working independently, and excited to be part of a small, dedicated team. Compensation & Benefits $11.35/hour plus tips Guaranteed minimum of $200 in tips per shift (subsidized by management if actual tips fall below this amount) Typical tips range from $200-$350 per shift Family meal provided each shift Responsibilities Prepare and serve wine, beer, and classic cocktails Deliver knowledgeable and engaging guest service Manage all aspects of bar operations during service Take food and beverage orders and provide attentive table service Perform light food preparation and plating of prepped menu items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining room Complete opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory support Qualifications Prior bartending experience required Strong cocktail knowledge and an interest in wine Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling both bar service and front-of-house responsibilities Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented About The Immigrant Wine Bar Located in the East Village, The Immigrant is an intimate wine bar where approximately 60% of sales are wine, 20% cocktails, 15% beer, and 5% food.
