We are seeking someone with strong cocktail knowledge, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced rooftop bar and restaurant environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards. Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests. Maintain strong knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine list, spirits, specials, allergens, and promotions. Take accurate drink and food orders when needed and enter them correctly into the POS system. Create a welcoming and energetic bar experience for guests. Upsell premium spirits, cocktails, wine, bottle service, and food items when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar tools, glassware, and service areas. Ensure proper setup, restocking, and closing procedures are completed. Check IDs and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies. Work closely with servers, runners, bussers, hosts, and management. Handle payments accurately and follow cash/credit card procedures. Assist with private events, group reservations, and rooftop service as needed. Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards. Requirements:
Previous bartending experience required, preferably in a rooftop bar, lounge, hotel, or high-volume restaurant. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts. Must be professional, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Must have a positive attitude, strong personality, and polished appearance. New York alcohol service certification is a plus. We Offer:
