Bartender / Server

Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems. Take food and drink orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food handling, serving, and catering events such as banquets or private parties. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to deliver prompt service while balancing multiple tables or bar stations. Skills Previous bartending experience in a dive bar, local bar or nightclub, environment is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Knowledge of the food industry and cocktail preparation techniques is essential. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs. Must have or be willing to obtain a NY Food Handlers Certificate within 3 months of hire. Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.

$200.00 - $600.00 per day
