As a Bartender at Boobliq Bagel Bistro, you will play an essential role in creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage service and genuine hospitality. Beyond preparing great drinks, you will connect with guests, provide thoughtful recommendations, and contribute to the welcoming atmosphere of our modern NYC dining concept. We are looking for a hospitality-driven professional with strong mixology skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, attentive, and personalized service Engage with guests to create a friendly and memorable bar experience Recommend cocktails, wines, beers, and beverage pairings based on guest preferences and menu offerings Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and signature cocktails Follow recipes, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent beverage quality Stay current with cocktail trends and contribute ideas for new beverage offerings Enter food and beverage orders accurately into the POS system Manage guest checks, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Complete daily bar prep, closing duties, and equipment cleaning Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management Work closely with servers, kitchen team, and management to ensure smooth service Support team training and share knowledge with new staff members when needed Follow NYC alcohol regulations and responsible beverage service standards Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, sanitation, and safety procedures

Must-Haves:

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage preparation Understanding of mixology techniques and standard bar procedures Experience working with POS systems and handling payments Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced NYC restaurant environment Professional attitude, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift and carry bar supplies and stand for extended periods Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
