NEW COCKTAIL BAR AND RESTAURANT COMING TO PELHAM, NY
Seeking bartenders in the Westchester area to join the opening team for a new and exciting cocktail program. By night, The Pelican Room is a full service restaurant with an innovative yet approachable cocktail menu featuring flavors from around the world. Our team is driven by a desire to brighten a guest's day through quality food and beverage and unshakeable hospitality. As a bartender , you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge of cocktails and our style of hospitality.Our Team members all have:
A commitment to excellence A desire to learn An appreciation for food and beverage A positive and collaborative attitude A love for making people smile What we Offer Competitive pay and tip structure The opportunity to grow and learn A committed and professional team Required Skills A firm knowledge of basic bartending skills, wine, and spirits Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing service and hospitality to guests Experience with cash handling, service standards, and problem solving Ability to follow specific and detailed instructions Must be able to lift 30 pounds comfortably Responsibilities Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the bar Setting up/breaking down the bar for service Executing steps of service and hospitality standards as outlined by management team Prepare fresh garnishes, specialty ingredients, and infusions as needed per drink specs Maintain positive rapport by communicating consistently with all levels of staff, guests, and external clients Adhere to all company procedures as it pertains to personal appearance, attendance and conduct Ensure DOL/Health Department compliance as it pertains to the operation Helping floor, bussing tables, running food and drinks Study and memorize specialty cocktail recipes as they change seasonally.
