Bartender/Server

Job Summary:

The Bartender/Server will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests by preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, and delivering food in a timely manner. This role requires a blend of excellent customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Bartender Duties:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Check identification to verify guests are of legal drinking age. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and ensure accurate billing. Engage with guests to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed. Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol.

Server Duties:

Greet and seat guests, provide menus, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences. Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar. Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guests' needs are met. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests. Prepare tables for new guests, including clearing and resetting tables. Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions. Assist with other duties as needed, such as restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a bartender is required Previous experience as a server is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating tabs. Knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods.
