Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a dynamic and energetic Bartender! In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of our bar area, creating memorable experiences for members and guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a lively atmosphere, whether you're mixing cocktails in a fine dining setting or serving guests at one of the premier Clubs in Rochester. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, develop your sales abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment that values your personality and professionalism. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with members in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering to ensure the bar is well-stocked for busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately during events Collaborate with Event staff during banquet services to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings throughout the clubhouse and grounds. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service, preferably fine dining. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, preferably Jonas or another Club focused software; strong cash handling skills are essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically while maintaining professionalism. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; experience working in the food industry or retail math proficiency is beneficial.
