POSITION SUMMARY
The Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality beverage and food service in the Mountain View Grill, special events, banquet operations, the Happy Hour Bar, and the Lounge Bar. This position ensures responsible alcohol service, maintains bar cleanliness and organization, and delivers exceptional guest experience while supporting revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards. 2. Ensure accurate pouring, portion control, and consistency in drink preparation. 3. Maintain full knowledge of current beer, wine, liquor, and cocktail offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards. 4. Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws. 5. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage service guidelines. 6. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and guest areas at all times. Track daily beverage usage and communicate low inventory to management. 7. Follow proper opening and closing procedures for both bar and dining service. 8. Assists event and waitstaff with taking orders and serving food 9. Follow established procedures for cash handling and POS transactions. 10. Assist with weekly inventory counts as assigned. 11. Set up and break down bar and/or service stations for catered events and banquets. 12. Follow BEO (Banquet Event Order) instructions precisely. 13. Provide friendly, professional service, handle guest concerns appropriately, and maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.) 14. Immediately report any incidents or accidents involving guests or staff. 15. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1-2 years bartending and/or serving experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and table service standards. Current TIPS certification or ability to obtain within 60 days. ServSafe certification preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Valid drivers license strongly preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
