The ideal candidate will have a passion for beer, mixology and an exceptional ability to provide outstanding customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality of service that our establishment is known for. We are the home of Soccer in New York State and other sports as well so bonus points if you are knowledgable in these areas! Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Familiarity with POS systems to facilitate order entry and payment processing. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
