BARTENDER

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender You will need a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations while serving food items when applicable. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when required. Stay updated on drink trends, new products, and menu changes to enhance customer experience. Skills Experience in the food industry with a strong understanding of food handling practices. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that promotes hospitality. Knowledge of sales techniques to effectively upsell drinks and menu items. Familiarity with retail math concepts related to inventory management and sales tracking. Ability to operate cash registers efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members in a busy environment.
