Job Summary Gas Light Bar & Grill is seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will craft and serve beverages with precision and flair, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will contribute to creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills and passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience Manage Toast POS for accurate order entry and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-intoxication Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light meals in a timely manner Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end and managing retail math calculations Skills Proven experience as a bartender in dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred Strong knowledge of Toast POS. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests Effective time management to handle busy service periods seamlessly Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with elevated beverage techniques and alcohol serving regulations
