Job Description
We've opened a new cafe in Tremont that's focused on matcha, juice, cocktails and fresh food. The cafe is open from 8-8 Wednesday through Saturday, 10-4 Sunday, and closed Monday and Tuesday. Our ideal candidate would be over 21, interested in matcha, and have experience in both the front and back of house. Responsibilities would vary depending on the day and who you're working with, but you would be whisking matcha, steaming and pouring milk for lattes, cold-pressing juice, mixing cocktails, assembling sandwiches and other foods, cleaning the dining room and bathrooms, dishwashing, chopping fruit and vegetables, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. Ideally, you would be a friendly person with the ability to work quickly and deliver consistent results. This isn't exactly a barista or bartender gig, nor is it a cook job, but a little of all three. Pay would start at $18 an hour plus tips. We're looking forward to hearing from you!
