Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and promptness. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales recording. Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or promotions. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while managing multiple tables or bar stations. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and retail math principles; process payments via POS systems. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order entry and sales tracking. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining high-quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and inventory management accurately. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; knowledge of brewing or food industry trends is beneficial.
