Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will be responsible for facilitating bartenders' service, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Duties Help bartenders prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and service standards. Skills Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment. Experience in food service or retail math to accurately process transactions and manage inventory. Proficient in cash handling, including operating cash registers and POS systems. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing tabs effectively. Knowledge of fine dining service standards is preferred but not required. Familiarity with nightclub environments is a plus, enhancing the ability to cater to diverse clientele.
