Full-time Overview:
Nestled in the heart of Columbus' historic German Village, Sycamore is an all-day caf and restaurant. Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service in a casual, yet elegant, environment. For this position, we are seeking a friendly, upbeat, and customer-focused candidate that can thrive in a positive work environment and deliver on high standards with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
Building positive relationships with guests and surrounding communities Adhere to patrons needs in a timely manner Attain exceptional knowledge on both food and beverage menus Maintain safety of guests by monitoring alcohol consumption and checking for proper identification Establish rapport with new and regular customers Mixing cocktails - using correct measurements for liquor pours and other ingredients. Following all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols
Qualifications:
Basic computer literacy Basic math skills 21+ to apply 2+ years of bartending experience and 2+ years of high-end cocktail mixing Wine knowledge a plus but not necessary Coffee knowledge a plus but not necessary Available to work nights/weekends/select holidays
