Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Bartender, where your energy and passion for service will create memorable experiences for guests. While we focus on locally made craft beer you will also craft and serve cocktails with precision, engage with diverse patrons, and ensure a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Working in a fun and busy setting your expertise will elevate every guest interaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while fostering a fun, fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using Toast POS systems Learn craft beer styles and be able to make recommendations to guests Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to keep the bar fully stocked for busy service periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff during service to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, monitoring guest consumption, and adhering to alcohol regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting; Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous cashiering or retail math skills are a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or catering functions. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management; experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
