Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions. Ensure responsible serving by verifying guest IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering, banquet events, or nightclub service to coordinate food and beverage delivery seamlessly. Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure a safe experience for guests and team members alike. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with retail math is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively without sacrificing quality of service. Familiarity with food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts.
