Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and personalized recommendations. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service. Collaborate with team members during busy hours, including catering events, banquets, or nightclub shifts, to deliver seamless service. Follow all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws to promote responsible serving practices. Assist in training new staff members on POS systems like Micros or Aloha POS and proper serving procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment; fine dining experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements; experience in responsible beverage service is advantageous. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math scenarios. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector; catering or banquet experience is beneficial.
