The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service in a neighborhood bar. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining a well-organized work environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized bar, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Process customer orders efficiently using the Toast POS system and handle cash register transactions accurately. Welcome and engage with guests, providing a warm and friendly environment. Maintain a well-stocked bar, monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, and assist with ordering as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving practices. Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Adhere to all alcohol safety regulations. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register. Handle lottery sales. Maintain a clean environment by removing trash, cleaning tables and restrooms, mopping, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment. Experience Previous bartending experience is required. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Familiarity with Toast POS preferred, but not required. Knowledge of various beverage types is a plus. Good communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
