Full Job Description Job Summary:
Alchemy is a precision-driven cocktail bar focused on consistency, detail, and being kind. We think great service is just as important as great drinks. Our team operates with discipline, humility, and a commitment to being a part of people enjoying themselves in a shared space and leaving others better than we found them. We are looking for team members who value structure, teamwork, and kindness, not just technical ability. This is a bar focused on diligent prep behind the scenes, and precision on the bar top. Our goal is to be fun, to tinker, and sling cocktails with the best of them. Most importantly, our goal is to ensure anyone who spends their time with us feels like that time was spent well. Qualifications for Bartender position:
High-level bartending skillset (4+ years preferred): technique, palate and consistency Values adherence to systems and a vision just as much as creativity Humility and a willingness to learn Organizational skills and a commitment to systems Responsible food and alcohol service standards
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Execution of our cocktail program with consistency and attention to detail Demonstrate sound fundamental bartending skills Maintain composure and commitment to our way of doing things in a fast-paced, process intense bar setting Contribute to an environment built on mutual respect and kindness between our staff and our guests Continue to refine your palate and grow your knowledge of the bar and spirit industry Maintain a clean and fully stocked workstation at all times Adhere to prep systems, closing duties, and bar prep Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and coworkers Provide warm hospitality and genuine goodwill towards our guests Handle feedback or guest dissatisfaction with professionalism and empathy
