Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a passion for providing exceptional service to guests. Duties Assist bartenders with preparing drinks and serving customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed. Help manage cash handling processes, including operating the cash register. Support the team during busy periods by bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or bottles. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure timely service. Familiarize yourself with the Aloha POS system for efficient order processing. Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or special functions within the venue. Experience Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus. Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or nightclubs is advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
