In this role, you'll be the heart of the bar area, mixing drinks, serving guests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back. Whether you're crafting specialty beverages in a fine dining setting, your energy and attention to detail will make every guest's experience memorable. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all food safety and food handling standards are met. Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently. Restock supplies as needed, and report shortages to management promptly. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality, especially in bartending roles within casual dining. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with an energetic and approachable demeanor. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate billing.
