Job Description
Seeking a craft beer enthusiast to join our team! Treebeerd's is a family owned taphouse, inspired by our love of nature, craft beer, and fantasy. Our ideal bartender has a friendly and warm attitude and can work both independently and on a small team. We are looking for someone with a knowledge of local craft beer to help cultivate a relaxing and welcoming experience. (We are looking for a Hobbit mentality!) Seeking daytime and Saturday availability, with occasional night coverage. (1-2 shifts/week)
Engage and build rapport with guests, answer questions about beer and products.
Proactively maintain cleanliness of dining room and all work areas.
Demonstrate highest integrity of fiduciary duties through cash handling and POS procedures.
Back of house/kitchen duties, including but not limited to: chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, assembling plates, running food items, and clean up.
Assist with appropriate upsells, brand education, and be knowledgable about all styles of craft beer.
Must be punctual and have a reliable method of transportation into Downtown Portland.
Must be at least 21 years of age and have valid OLCC/Food Handling certifications.

Take and execute orders for beer, snacks, merchandise, growlers and packaged to-go options while checking for proper identification of legal drinking age.Engage and build rapport with guests, answer questions about beer and products.
Proactively maintain cleanliness of dining room and all work areas.
Demonstrate highest integrity of fiduciary duties through cash handling and POS procedures.
Back of house/kitchen duties, including but not limited to: chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, assembling plates, running food items, and clean up.
Skills and Expectations:
Maintain highest level of professionalism and customer service with all guests.Assist with appropriate upsells, brand education, and be knowledgable about all styles of craft beer.
Must be punctual and have a reliable method of transportation into Downtown Portland.
