Job Description

Kachka Fabrika is looking for a Bartender to join our FOH team.

We're an intimate cocktail bar located adjacent to our distillery serving a seafood focused menu alongside fun and interesting cocktails and vodka infusions.

Has 2+ year bartending experienceMoves with urgency and works well under pressureIs team-oriented and takes pride in their workIs eager to learn and growIs available evenings/weekendsKachka was founded in 2014 by Bonnie and Israel Morales with a mission to share the rich culinary and cultural traditions of the former Soviet Union. Drawing inspiration from Bonnie s family history as Soviet-Jewish refugees and her experience as a first-generation American, Kachka s original restaurant on SE Grand Ave. quickly became a sensation on the local and national restaurant scene. Today Kachka is a Portland institution, celebrated for its warm hospitality, bold flavors, and innovative interpretations of classic dishes and vodka infusions made with the finest ingredients sourced from the Pacific Northwest.

After years of working with other distilleries to bottle Kachka Horseradish Vodka, in 2025 Kachka opened its own distillery and zakuski bar within Fabrika. This venture allows Kachka to craft traditional Eastern European-style vodka and infusions to sell direct to guests, as well as other bars, restaurants and liquor stores. The distillery bar is modern and less tied to tradition, serving creative vodka martinis, seasonal cocktails, and a menu centered around a raw bar and the region s freshest seafood.

Together, Kachka and Fabrika share a vision to preserve and celebrate immigrant traditions through the lens of the Pacific Northwest. They represent a legacy of resilience, authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
