Bartender

Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales. Responsibilities & Duties

• Primary job function is to ensure guest satisfaction, by providing quality customer service throughout the dining/bar experience. Will need to interact verbally with guests to create an upbeat and friendly atmosphere.
• Menu/Liquor knowledge should be extensive. Awareness and ability to describe all food, drink, and special menu items.
• Relaying orders to service bar and the kitchen via POS computer terminal.
• Setting up and maintaining a clean, organized bar area throughout the shift.
• Should possess the ability to multi-task and be aware of several rail guests progression through the dining/bar experience
• Cash handling: closing out of all rail checks in an orderly and timely fashion. Providing the guest with accurate and complete change, coupled with a sincere "Thank You," and invitation to return
• Ability to lift boxes, occasionally up to 25lbs. May be required to remain stationary for long periods of time, while repetitively bending, stopping, reaching or other repetitive movements. Hands will be immersed in water often, during the shift
• Breaking down of the bar at the end of the evening, including any daily cleaning tasks, to be checked out with a manager upon completion.

May be required to perform other related duties, as assigned
