Description:

Provide guests with a fully-stocked and well-maintained mini-bar on a consistent basis throughout their stay, while servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with Union League standards. This position also delivers amenities to guest rooms when needed.

Responsibilities:

Inventory all guest mini-bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to guest departure. Clean the mini-bars on a regular basis including the fridge drawer and surrounding spaces. Keep an accurate par of food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, napkins, wine and bottle openers, etc. on cart and in storage areas. Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars; report damage, or malfunctioning units. Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.

Skills and Requirements:

This position requires the ability to work the day shift and flex into other shifts when needed. Requires organization and flexibility and a problem-solving approach to all duties. Ability to be mobile for significant distances within building on the property. Requires proficiency in the English language. Ability to learn and use the point-of-sale system Ability to count and record accurately. Able to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
