Job Description
Cellar Dog, a gaming and live jazz venue is seeking an experienced Barback to work in support of our daily bar operations. The Barback will work under the direction of the General Manager, and will assist in the efficient set up and organization of the bar and dining spaces. You will also help to clear the main room of debris, run food and keep all areas clean throughout the shift. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced setting and have the ability to work in collaboration with their peers while maintaining the level of cleanliness standards set forth. We are looking for positive people with positive attitudes. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of relative experience in a high-volume property, knowledge of beer varieties and liquor as well as keg facilitation, strong attention to detail, must be able to work nights and weekends and have open availability. In addition to technical skills the candidate must have an elevated level of communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to lift over 50 pounds. Candidate must have open availability and ability to work nights and weekends.
