Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a Bartender/server to join our team. Experience is preffered but willing and happy to train enthusiastic individuals looking to get into this line of work. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a member oriented environment. This role involves serving beverages, light housekeeping, and light cooking (fryer foods). All shifts are afternoon and evening. Looking to fill between 1-3 shifts per week/ we are open 4 days a week - Thursday through Sunday. This a great job for extra spending cash or supplementing income. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. A RAMP server certificate will be needed within 30 days of hire but will be reimbursed upon completion if you do not already have the training. Operate POS systems and handle all monies involved on shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for guests at the bar or during events such as banquets or catering functions. Requirements Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive guest experience. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tabs accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the establishment's schedule.
