Job Description

Job Summary The Bartender/Server is responsible for providing friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests in accordance with brand standards, company standards, and all applicable alcohol service regulations. This position includes taking guest orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivering food items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant/bar environment. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive food and beverage service to guests. Take and enter guest orders accurately. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards. Verify guest identification and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines. Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner. Process payments accurately. Keep the bar, restaurant, and service areas clean, organized, and stocked. Communicate with kitchen, front desk, and management teams as needed. Follow all health, sanitation, safety, alcohol service, and brand standards. Assist with events and late-night service as business demands require. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of restaurant, serving, bartending, or food & beverage experience preferred. Prior hotel food & beverage experience strongly preferred. Must meet all state and local requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Knowledge of basic drink preparation and responsible alcohol service preferred. Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Work is performed indoors in a restaurant/bar environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. Must be able to operate standard restaurant/bar equipment and payment systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Hilton Garden Inn is committed to providing friendly, reliable, and welcoming hospitality to every guest. Team members are expected to follow brand standards, company policies, food safety guidelines, and responsible alcohol service requirements. This position requires evening availability, typically from 4:00 PM-10:00 PM, with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional late-night events based on business demand. In Pennsylvania, alcohol service employees must complete RAMP Server/Seller Training within six months of hire if not already certified. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
