Bartender / Barista - Nederland General Store (Ned Gen) Nederland, CO Hourly + tips Full-time or Part-time About Us Nederland General Store (aka Ned Gen ) is a community-driven coffee shop, kitchen, and bar in the heart of Nederland. We're known for our strong coffee, solid cocktails, and a space that locals want to hang out in. Come for the coffee, stay for the beer. We're building a team that moves fast, works hard, and genuinely cares about the guest experience—whether it's a 7am latte or a 7pm beer. The Role We're looking for a bartender who can confidently run the bar while also jumping into the flow of a high-volume café. This is a hybrid role—coffee + cocktails + community. You'll be a key part of the energy of the space. What You'll Do Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Jump into café service when needed (espresso, POS, running drinks/food) Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for locals and visitors Handle high-volume shifts with speed and accuracy Check IDs and follow all Colorado liquor laws Open/close the bar and manage cash responsibly What We're Looking For Bartending experience required (1+ year preferred) Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments Strong multitasking skills (you can handle a rush without spiraling) Positive, team-first attitude Reliable—shows up and pulls their weight Interest in coffee is a big plus (we can train the right person) Must be 21+ Why Work at Ned Gen High tip potential Tight-knit, community-focused team Unique mountain-town environment Opportunity to grow with a developing business Staff perks (coffee, drinks, food discounts) Schedule Expectations Must be available evenings and weekends Shifts may vary based on volume (this is not a "clock out exactly on time" environment) To Apply Apply through Indeed or send a resume to ally@nedgeneral.com.
