Catering Bartender Pranzi Catering & Events Providence, RI Job Details Part-time $16 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service Event customer service Full Job Description Position Summary Pranzi Catering & Events is seeking motivated, professional, and personable Catering Bartenders to join our team. As a family-owned catering and event planning company, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our clients and guests. This role offers the opportunity to work at weddings, corporate events, and special occasions at premier venues throughout Southern New England. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming guest experience. Set up, operate, and break down event bars. Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company specifications. Check guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements. Take beverage orders and attend to guests throughout the event. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed. Assist with basic event setup, including table settings and service preparation. Carry trays of food and beverages when required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and work areas. Follow directions from Event Coordinators and Team Leaders. Report any incidents or concerns to management promptly. Work collaboratively with kitchen, service, and event staff to ensure smooth event operations. Qualifications & Requirements Previous hospitality, restaurant, serving, or bartending experience preferred. TIPS certification, ServSafe Alcohol certification, or equivalent alcohol service certification required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability Thursday through Sunday during the busy season (mid-April through November). Must have reliable transportation to travel to various event venues throughout Southern New England. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for 8 or more consecutive hours. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and perform other physical tasks associated with event service.
