Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. We are a cigar lounge and you will need to be able to handle an indoor smoking environment. If you have a passion for mixology and enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to customer preferences and company standards
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
• Cleaning ashtrays
• Monitor alcohol consumption of customers to prevent over-intoxication
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and restocking inventory

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Bartender or similar role in the food industry
• Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
• Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
