During events the Banquet Server/bartender is responsible for providing hospitable and effective service. The Banquet Server/Bartender will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas. Duties and responsibilities 1. The Banquet Server/ Bartender will be responsible for collecting, polishing and prepping glassware, china, and silverware for upcoming events. These will be setup in the banquet room specific to each BEO. If unable to setup a space, the items should be collected and stored in a nearby location until the necessary room(s) is available. 2. He or She will be responsible in insuring server stations are stocked with the items including back- ups needed for assigned event determined by either the Banquet Manager. 3. During events the Banquet Server/Bartender is responsible is keeping the events space clean and organized by removing clearing/bussing table, cleaning up spills, insuring the trash not over following and disposed of properly. 4. He or she will be responsible for provided professional and attentive service to guest of events. 5. When breaking down an event the Banquet Server/Bartender is responsible for assisting for the banquet team in the following plus what the Banquet Manager deems appropriate i. Collecting solid linen and putting in its proper been ii. Collecting dirty glassware, china, silverware, etc and neatly placing it in the dish pit for it to be washed iii. Collecting clean glassware, chine, silverware, ect and returning it neatly to the item's proper storage locations iv. Breaking down tables and chairs and return them to their proper locations and keeping them organized v. Collecting all trash and deposing of it in its proper location vi. Ensuring the event space is cleaner than when the event started 6. The Banquet Server/Bartender is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the following areas: Main Clubhouse Downstairs Storage, Main Clubhouse Housekeeping, Main Clubhouse Upstairs Pantry, Main and South Clubhouse Coat Rooms, South Clubhouse Roof Access, and any other locations as specified by the Banquet Manager. 7. The Banquet Server/Bartender will assist the Banquet Managers maintain a monthly inventory of all banquet supplies including but not limited to: glassware, china, silverware, chairs, linens, and décor items. 8. He or She will be responsible for maintaining and rotating all non-alcoholic products, including but not limited to Coca Cola bottles, juices, etc. Physical Demands and Work Environment Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. Continuous repetitive motions. Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
