As an integral part of the club's dining and social experience , this role is responsible for preparing, pouring, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate demonstrates solid knowledge of mixology and beverage service standards, works efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced outdoor or indoor setting, and consistently creates a welcoming, engaging experience for members and guests. Job Summary - Server We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and professional Server to join our outdoor Wappoo Café or Front of House Clubhouse team. As an integral part of the club's dining and social experience, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to club members and guests while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in both fast-paced and slower-paced settings. Beyond providing excellent service, our Servers play an important role in fostering a positive, team-oriented culture where collaboration and support across all areas of the club are valued. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a private club environment—building relationships with members, working closely with colleagues, and taking pride in upholding elevated service standards. This opportunity offers exposure to multiple service environments, along with opportunities for cross-training and professional growth, making it a great fit for individuals looking to develop their hospitality skills while contributing during the season and potentially growing with the club over the long term. Job Summary - Food Runner/Busser We are seeking a hardworking, efficient, and team-oriented Food Runner to join our outdoor Wappoo Café or Front of House Clubhouse team. As an essential link between the kitchen and member dining experience, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food to members and guests while supporting servers in maintaining a clean, organized, and "member ready" dining environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and thrives in both fast-paced and slower-paced settings. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn the fundamentals of hospitality, with opportunities for cross-training and internal growth into additional Food & Beverage roles within the club. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure. Professional appearance and welcoming demeanor. Familiarity with reservation and seating software is a plus (ClubEssential preferred). Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED Availability Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to stand for long periods and perform movements such as walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, stretching, and reaching. Ability to look at digital screens (computer, tablet, or point-of-sale system) for extended periods. Ability to accurately use touchscreen devices, keyboards, and a mouse. Ability to hear and respond to phone calls, paging systems, and member inquiries in a noisy environment. Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform continuous, repetitive motions. Ability to work in a hot, humid and noisy environment
