Bartender

Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and enhancing their overall experience. Manage Toast POS systems to process orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages promptly to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring seamless service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, full service restaurants, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS systems for efficient sales processing, is helpful. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing purposes. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; prior nightclub or catering experience is a plus. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is advantageous but not required.
