Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender and Distillery Tour Guide to join our vibrant team. This dual role combines the art of crafting exceptional cocktails with the excitement of guiding guests through our distillery process. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of bartending experience, a passion for hospitality, and a flair for engaging storytelling. Your enthusiasm will elevate guest experiences, whether making drinks or sharing the fascinating story behind our spirits. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where you can showcase your mixology skills while educating visitors about our craft distillery. A bonus opportunity for the right team member: We also use our part time bar staff to help with packaging! It's a great way to get more hours and pay during the week! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Manage POS systems such as Square for accurate order processing and cash handling. Conduct informative distillery tours, explaining the distillation process, history, and unique features of our products to visitors. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of food handling, serving, and beverage preparation. Assist with bar inventory management, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures. Support catering events or special functions with bar service as needed, demonstrating strong time management and multitasking skills. Qualifications Minimum of two years' bartending experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with fine dining or a craft cocktail focus. Proficiency with POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations. Safe service training of alcohol service is a must do. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences in both bar settings and guided tours. Experience with retail math, cashiering, serving, banquet or food industry experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with hospitality concepts including distilling processes or the food industry is a plus.
