Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and balance registers at the end of shifts using retail math skills. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events to coordinate timely delivery of drinks and food. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by verifying IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Assist in setting up banquet or nightclub events, ensuring all beverage needs are met seamlessly. Promote sales by suggesting drink specials or upselling premium beverages to guests. Experience Prior experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with Toast POS system is essential for efficient order processing. Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality. Experience in retail math for cash handling, balancing registers, and managing inventory counts accurately. Background in hospitality or food industry roles that involve serving customers in fast-paced environments like restaurants or catering events. Familiarity with brewing techniques or beverage crafting can be an added advantage for creating specialty drinks.
