Comedy Club is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. We are looking for energetic, reliable professionals who can provide outstanding guest service in a fast-paced entertainment venue. Our bartenders play a key role in creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining responsible alcohol service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service to all guests Accurately process cash and credit card transactions through the POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift Check identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service Recommend drinks, upsell premium products, and promote featured specials Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and inventory tasks Work efficiently during high-volume events and show nights Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure a positive guest experience Qualifications Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Must be at least 21 years of age Preferred Qualifications Current alcohol server certification (TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent) Experience in high-volume bars, restaurants, entertainment venues, or nightlife settings Familiarity with POS systems Schedule Primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays Part-time position with opportunities for additional shifts based on business needs Compensation Hourly wage plus tips If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy engaging with guests, and take pride in providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you
