Bartender

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable dining experience in both fine dining and nightclub settings. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Operate Toast POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for banquets, catering events, and special occasions. Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to elevate the beverage offerings. Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards in food handling practices. Experience Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred. Familiarity with food service operations, including banquet experience and catering services. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is essential. Experience using POS systems such as Toast or Micros is a plus.
