Hotel Job Description Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to hotel guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This role involves preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with all safety and alcohol service regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, providing recommendations when requested Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, specials, and hotel offerings Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local and state laws Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and equipment Monitor guest behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and health regulations

Qualifications:

Previous bartending experience preferred, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and beverage trends Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs Frequent reaching, bending, and lifting

Fast-paced hotel bar or lounge setting May involve late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
