Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders accurately and provide personalized recommendations. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling and sales records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Handle cash transactions accurately, balance registers at shift end, and perform basic math calculations for sales reconciliation. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong time management skills to prioritize service during busy hours without compromising quality. Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving alcohol responsibly and food safety regulations. Experience in retail math for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or craft cocktails; knowledge of catering or banquet experience is a plus.
