Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with health standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service in various settings. Utilize Toast POS system for order entry and payment processing, ensuring accuracy in transactions. Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments, is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with cash register operations and basic sales techniques is beneficial. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail during high-pressure situations. Knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
