Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of mixology, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Monitor alcohol consumption of customers, ensuring responsible service of alcoholic beverages
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar area
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Skills:
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Knowledge of the food industry, including food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Hospitality mindset, anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service
- Proficiency in using Toast point-of-sale systems
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks accurately
