The Heirloom Room is Rocky Waters Motor Inn's signature fine dining experience, where an expertly curated cocktail, wine, and bourbon program is central to what we offer our guests. As a Bartender, you are both craftsperson and host — mixing and serving exceptional drinks, guiding guests through our offerings, and creating a bar experience that is as memorable as the dining room itself. This is a role for someone with deep beverage knowledge, genuine hospitality instincts, and the composure to handle a high-end bar environment with professionalism and confidence. What You'll Do Guest Experience & Service Deliver warm, attentive bar service that reflects The Heirloom Room's standards Anticipate guest needs and show genuine interest in enriching their experience Guide guests through cocktail, wine, whiskey, and bourbon selections, including food pairings Upsell food and beverage offerings knowledgeably and naturally Handle guest service issues with professionalism, including responsible management of guests Respect and maintain the privacy and discretion of all guests Craft & Product Knowledge Prepare and serve high-end cocktails, wine, whiskey, and bourbon to AATMOS standards and guest satisfaction Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, drink preparations, and beverage offerings Stay current on menu changes, seasonal offerings, and featured selections Follow AATMOS Cost Per Pour standards to ensure consistent quality and profitability Operations & Standards Stock the bar with sufficient alcohol, garnishes, glassware, and supplies at all times Verify guest identification to confirm legal drinking age Process guest checks and closing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Use hotel software systems in accordance with AATMOS Standard Operating Procedures Conduct beverage and food inventory per AATMOS standards Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitized bar, including countertops, glassware, utensils, and equipment throughout and at the end of each shift Break down and prepare the bar for the next shift, ensuring all workspaces and equipment are clean and ready What We're Looking For Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required Extensive knowledge of cocktail preparation, wines, bourbons, and whiskeys required Must be 18 years of age or older Skills & Abilities Warm, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional when handling difficult or unruly guests Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and complete orders quickly and accurately Physical & Schedule Requirements Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs throughout each shift TABC server permit from a TABC certified program required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained throughout employment Benefits & Perks Medical insurance Discounted vision and dental insurance Employee hotel travel program with discounted rooms across the AATMOS portfolio Paid time off, vacation pay, and sick pay ZayZoon daily pay — access your earned wages when you need them Opportunities for career growth within a growing hospitality group At AATMOS, we're committed to a positive, inclusive workplace where passionate hospitality professionals can thrive and grow.
