We expertly deliver, set up, and distribute spirits to guests at various events. We are seeking to hire a seasoned or newly minted Bartender to join our growing team. This position interacts with the client from behind the bar while on-site at an event. At Vital Event Services, we hire more than just bartenders; we hire personalities who can tend bar! As a Special Event Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while executing our standard services.
THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION.
If selected, this position is on an as-needed basis via 1099 or contract worker.
  • Availability for weekends in October 2025 is required.
Responsibilities for Bartender Provide high-quality service to customers Adhere to all local and national liquor laws Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes Greet guests promptly and take orders Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and the team Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety Responsible for mobile bar set up and tear down Strict adherence to the venue or facility requirements for pour service Qualifications for Bartender A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Bartending school graduate a plus Server's Permit issued by the TNABC
  • Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission Must be 18 years of age Basic mathematical skills Be able to work in a standing position for long periods Knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails Vital customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to read and speak English proficiently Valid Driver's license w/ active insurance Reliable Transportation Willing to travel to the Smoky Mountains (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville) Cool-Temper•Must be able to keep a friendly environment and cool temper towards clients, family members, and other vendors.
Work Ethic
  • Must be able to withstand working and being on your feet for long hours, hustle during event days, and conquer weather elements when they arise.
Applicants should display exceptional communication skills, multitask, and be willing to improve and learn continuously. Applicants must also be available on select nights and weekends. Individuals with limited experience will undergo a training process as a Soft Bar Bartender to become an Open Bar Bartender.
