Do you want to learn about how food pairs with wine? Hemisphere's is the perfect future job for you! We cross train all of our employees on the ins and outs of the variety of wines and cocktails that we offer as well as our limited food menu. Duties Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using a Toast POS system Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Cook and serve food promptly and professionally. Able to walk up and down a staircase and carry a wine case up and down it. Ability to carry 30 lbs. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Learn about wine and the regions they come from. Properly handle cash and card payments Support team members during busy shifts by managing time effectively, multitasking between serving, bartending, and kitchen duties as needed. Qualifications MUST get an ABC certification in order to serve alcohol. Must be 19 years of age or older. Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining quality service. Ability to work in a team. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
