Barback

Position Summary:

As a Barback, you play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our bar. Your dedication to ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized contributes to a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

Restock bar supplies, including glassware, liquor, garnishes, and condiments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including clearing and cleaning tables. Prepare and replenish garnishes, fruits, and other bar ingredients. Ensure the bar area is stocked with clean towels and cleaning supplies. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of bar equipment. Retrieve and deliver orders from the kitchen to the bar. Assist in monitoring guest alcohol consumption and prevent overindulgence. Empty trash and dispose of waste following proper procedures. Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally. Collaborate with bartenders to ensure smooth and efficient service. Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service. Handle cash and credit card transactions as needed. Assist with basic administrative tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; previous barback or hospitality experience is beneficial. Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and kegs. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Basic knowledge of bar equipment and beverages. Professional appearance and demeanor.
